Allergens and Your Office

Allergies can be tough on your staff, from sneezing, headaches, itchy eyes and more it can take the wind out of your staff and lead to decreased productivity. Taking a few proactive steps can go a long way to helping your staff remain productive and breathe easier.

First, you'll want to ensure your HVAC or the buildings HVAC filters are clean and still providing your office with clean filtered air.

Second, all surfaces should be dusted frequently and wiped clean to ensure all dust and possibly allergens are removed.

Third, you'll want to ensure you or your cleaning crew are not broom cleaning your floors as much of the dirt and grime invisible to the naked eye is left behind. Instead, opt for steam cleaning of your floors at least two times a week, to ensure your floors remain clean.

Last, you'll want to make sure you have your staff in on the effort to maintain their own work space. Keeping their spaces tidy will ensure whoever is cleaning can do the best job possible, with minimal interference to personal items.
